We are looking to find a skilled Arabic Classical / Tarab Vocalist to join our growing team.

You will perform traditional Arabic and tarab-style vocals with accurate maqam-based intonation and ornamentation.

Responsibilities:

• Record melodic lines and short compositions within specified maqam frameworks

• Execute traditional ornaments with clarity and control

• Maintain intonation aligned with style conventions

• Provide sustained tones and lyrical excerpts

• Document maqam and tempo for each recording

Requirements:

• Strong training in Arabic classical or tarab singing

• Command of maqam systems and associated ornament styles

• Setup capable of capturing full dynamic range

Background:

• Formal or traditional vocal training

• Prior recordings demonstrating traditional performance

Sample Test Task:

• Record a short unaccompanied taqsim and a composed phrase in a specified maqam.

Application Requirements:

• Short note on your training and strongest maqam

• Vocal samples

• Completion of the test script (task).

Compensation

• Per recording session or per batch of phrases.
