We are looking to find a skilled Clinical Articulation and Phoneme Accuracy Annotator to join our growing team.
You will annotate phoneme-level articulation accuracy in recorded speech, identifying substitutions, distortions, omissions and atypical productions. These annotations support training for detailed articulation-aware models.
Responsibilities:
Label phoneme-level articulation errors using a defined scheme
Identify substitutions, distortions, omissions and additions
Tag patterns such as fronting, stopping, gliding or cluster reduction
Add short notes for ambiguous or inconsistent productions Maintain consistent application of the taxonomy across datasets
Requirements:
Training in clinical phonetics or articulation assessment
Strong phoneme discrimination ability
Comfort with waveform and time-aligned annotation tools
Background:
Speech-language pathology, articulation assessment or therapy planning
Experience with structured articulation testing
Sample Test Task:
Annotate articulation errors in a 60-second recording containing controlled word lists.
Compensation
Per annotated minute or per batch of phoneme-level samples.
