(Tokyo Standard and Light Variants)

We are looking to find a skilled Japanese Voice Actor to join our growing team.

You will provide clean, consistent Japanese voice recordings in standard Tokyo-style speech, with optional light regional or stylistic variation. Recordings support training for speech and dialogue models.

Responsibilities:

• Record scripted lines, prompts and dialogues in clear standard Japanese with consistent diction

• Provide multiple emotional variants of selected lines such as neutral, friendly, formal and excited

• Deliver both short prompts and longer passages at stable recording levels

• Follow direction on pacing, emphasis and style

• Record in a quiet environment with a suitable microphone setup

Requirements:

• Native fluency in Japanese with strong command of standard pronunciation

• Reliable home or studio recording environment with clean audio

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain consistency across sessions

Background:

• Voice acting, narration, dubbing, audiobooks or radio work

• Familiarity with basic recording practices

Sample Test Task:

• Record the provided script including neutral dialogue, announcements and narrative sections, plus two emotional variants for selected lines.

Application Requirements:

• Short note describing your recording environment

•  Voice reel or sample recordings in Japanese

• Completion of the test task

Compensation

• Per recorded hour of usable audio or per script, depending on length and complexity.
