(Mainland Standard, Optional Taiwanese Style)

We are looking to find a skilled Mandarin Voice Actor to join our growing team.

You will provide clear Mandarin voice recordings suitable for ASR, TTS and dialogue-model training. Ability to adjust delivery slightly toward Mainland or Taiwanese style is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Record scripted lines and paragraphs in standard Mandarin with accurate tone production

• Deliver both natural conversational speech and careful citation-style speech when requested

• Optionally provide alternate takes with mild regional flavour

• Maintain consistent levels and minimise background noise

Requirements:

• Native command of Mandarin with strong tonal accuracy

• Confident reading ability and comfort with varied vocabulary

• Reliable home or studio recording setup meeting basic quality standards

Background:

• Voice recording, broadcasting, teaching, podcasting or similar

•  Ability to take direction on pace and emphasis

Sample Test Task:

• Record a script including numerals, names and general sentences, plus a short unscripted description of a daily routine.

Application Requirements:

• Short note describing your regional background and any exposure to different Mandarin varieties

• Voice samples that show contrasting styles

• Completion of the test task

Compensation

• Per finished minute of clean audio, with rates adjusted for volume and complexity
