We are looking to find a skilled Rhythm Section Multi-Instrumentalist to join our growing team.

You will record core rhythm-section parts including drum kit, electric or acoustic bass and basic percussion. Recordings support models that learn timing, groove and ensemble interaction.

Responsibilities:

• Record drum patterns across various tempos and feels including straight, swing, funk, rock and simple Latin-influenced grooves

• Record matching bass lines that lock with the drum parts or with provided guide tracks

• Add basic percussion elements such as shaker, tambourine or claps when requested

• Maintain tight timing to a click while also providing variants with natural human-feel timing

• Deliver cleanly recorded stems for each instrument with clear labelling and consistent levels

Requirements:

• Competent performance ability on drum kit and bass guitar

• Understanding of groove, pocket and ensemble balance

• Access to instruments and a recording setup capable of clean close-mic or direct-input capture

Background:

• Session or band experience as a rhythm-section player

•  Prior recording work demonstrating drum and/or bass performance

Sample Test Task:

• Record a drum groove at a specified tempo and a matching bass part, plus a variation with a different feel.

Compensation

• Per track or per bundle of groove patterns and stems, with rates adjusted by the number of instruments recorded and project complexity.
