We are looking to find a skilled Voice Quality and Phonation Attribute Annotator to join our growing team.
You will annotate voice-quality features such as breathiness, roughness, strain, pitch stability and phonatory onset characteristics. These labels support voice-quality modelling.
Responsibilities:
Rate voice-quality attributes using a defined rubric (e.g., breathy, strained, rough, pressed, hypernasal, hyponasal)
Mark unstable pitch, phonation breaks and atypical onset patternsProvide short notes for mixed or unclear qualities
Maintain consistent scoring standards across sessions
Requirements:
Experience with voice assessment frameworks such as GRBAS or CAPE-V
Ability to judge phonatory quality independently of semantics
Strong listening accuracy
Background:
Voice therapy, clinical vocal assessment or SLP training
Knowledge of phonatory and resonance disorders
Sample Test Task:
Rate ten sustained vowels and five short phrases for voice quality.
Compensation
Per rated sample set or per structured evaluation task.
