We are looking to find a skilled West African Afrobeats / Highlife Vocalist to join our growing team.

You will perform vocals in Afrobeats and Highlife-influenced styles using English, Pidgin and/or a local language.

Responsibilities:

• Record hooks, verses and ad libs for Afrobeats and Highlife material

• Switch naturally between languages when requested

• Maintain groove and phrasing consistent with genre conventions

• Provide energy-level variants and optional melodic improvisation

• Keep recordings well organised and labelled

Requirements:

• Strong vocal ability with natural feel for Afrobeats/Highlife phrasing

• Comfort with multilingual or mixed-language delivery

• Recording solution with clean capture

Background:

• Active involvement in Afrobeats or Highlife scenes

• Existing recordings in one or both styles

Sample Test Task:

• Record an Afrobeats hook, a Highlife-style phrase and a short ad-lib section.

• Completion of the test script (task).
